Healing Your Inner Child As A MOM

Busy hands, flowers in the hair, and a little bit of dirt everywhere… that’s what a good summer looks like. 🌿🌼
And perhaps… that is also what the freedom of childhood feels like.
Because everything has a root.
If, as an adult, you find it hard to enjoy yourself, rest, express your feelings, or simply be yourself… it is worth asking: what do I want to sow in my children’s hearts today?
We all face difficult moments.
We all make mistakes.
We all carry wounds.
And we are all forming habits that often began long before we could even understand them.
How often do we ask ourselves?
Why do I get angry so quickly?
Why do I react this way?
Why does this affect me so much?
Many answers can be found in how we grew up. In the words we heard, the love we received, the examples we saw, and the small moments that shaped our childhood.
That doesn’t mean our past defines our future, but it does remind us of the impact childhood experiences have.
So, Mom, I hope this summer brings more time for playing, getting messy, running barefoot, and picking flowers.
May there always be an “I love you,” an unhurried hug, and the freedom to explore the world with curiosity.
Because childhood passes so quickly… and the seeds we sow today can stay with them for a lifetime.
